Hello! Thanks for taking a step to get to know me. I am the writer of art wRITe is
That title should be the first thing I explain, as it lets you know much about who I am.
I was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis when I was 14 years old, it has been 6 years since then– you can do some math to figure out my age. I have my ups and my downs battling it and everything else it brings with it, but I have realized how hard it is to find blogs about people with any type of chronic pain moving overseas. As a result, I want to share my experiences with this audience in mind. Of course, I hope my adventures abroad are entertaining for everyone, but I want to be able to help others so that they do not feel as lost in the journey of living in another country!
Art and Writing have always been huge influences in my life. One of my favorite places to go is the Art Museum, and I do my fair share of doodling– however, my art, in the traditional sense of the word, is very simple. To each their own! Writing though, is something I have always found to be a great outlet. I am not the best writer… Often losing focus, rambling about nonsensical items, but I hope that you will be able to find comfort in the fact my writing is not difficult to understand, or at least I do not intend for it to be a challenge.
I will be writing, or attempting to write, most of my blog posts in both English and Japanese. It will take time, but I feel it is the best way for me to practice my Japanese, as well as take out some of the “fluff” I tend to throw in my writing.
I hope you enjoy following me on my adventures abroad, and feel free to contact me with any questions!
